ABOUT FRESHWATER PEARLS

• There's nothing quite like the warmth and lustre of pearls. Like natural pearls, our cultured freshwater pearls grow inside a living organism. The difference is that to create a cultured freshwater pearl, a tiny bit of material is implanted into the shell of a mollusc (usually a freshwater mussel), around which the pearl forms.
