This single grain whisky is made from 100 % South African grain. The South African climate assists in accelerating its maturation and the rate that the flavour is extracted from the oak. This results in whisky that is as smooth as older whiskies. Distilled in column stills and uniquely double matured, it is first filled in American Oak casks for three years and then revatted for a further 18 to 30 months. This smooth whisky has a rich, warm amber colour and a combination of toffee, floral and vanilla aromas with a hint of spice and oaky undertones.
