Mined from a salt lake in Semnan province in Iran, our blue salt has a more subtle flavour, slight sweetness and a cleaner aftertaste.

The colour streaks are due to the naturally occuring mineral, Sylvite. The colour is a result of the crystal formation and the pressure to which the salt crystals are exposed.

• An interesting substitute to the conventional sea salt, in the kitchen or on the table. It has a more subtle flavour, slight sweetness and a cleaner aftertaste.
