Our single origin Sri Lankan Ceylon loose leaf tea is a full-bodied, rich, and malty tea. Of all the loose-leaf varietals, this one will carry milk and sugar the best and provide you with a velvety and malty experience.
Ceylon tea, with its origins in Sri Lanka, gets its name from the nation formerly known as Ceylon.
The origin of this tea distinguishes it from other black teas and it is known for its bright, yet coloury, and brisk aromatic liquors.
HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT CUP OF CEYLON TEA
- One heaped teaspoon of leaves per cup. Use a ball tea strainer or a coffee plunger.
- Pour freshly boiled water over the leaves, allow to infuse for 3 – 5 minutes before straining.
- Enjoy the unique flavour, best served without milk or sugar, but may be added if desired.
- Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, seal with the sticker and use within 2 months.
